Sheila Warner

From  18 September 2026  the Ground Café hosts the vibrant mixed‑media artwork of Sheila, whose pieces celebrate texture, colour, and the quiet drama found in natural forms. Working with threads, beads, metallic accents, and sculptural textile elements, she builds intricate compositions that feel both organic and boldly contemporary. Her work invites viewers to slow down and explore each layered detail — the spirals, coils, and botanical shapes that seem to grow and unfurl across the canvas.

Sheila Warner

I am a creative textile artist.

I achieved high city and guild, and diploma grades,  in  creative embroidery and machine embroidery, and Gold work at The Royal School of Needlework.

My passion is producing 3d textile pieces of work using a variety of media including paints, silk, leather, metals  threads and beads.
I use the sewing machine as a tool to draw. I manipulate and form textured surfaces on fabric, then the embellishing is done.
